The Group Auto Edit automation is a tool that helps you automatically edit different scenes to the beat markers on your timeline. It is designed to keep your different groups together and in order in relation to each other. You can fine-tune the conditions that happen within each group by changing the parameters specified below.
The first parameter is the Group Duration, which determines how much screen time you want to give each group. You have two options to choose from Ratio and Equal. With the Ratio option, the automation takes the number of clips in each group into account and gives each group the appropriate amount of screen time. For instance, if one of your groups has 25 clips and the other has 75 clips, choosing this algorithm will divide the screen time as follows: 25% to group 1 and 75% to group 2. On the other hand, with the Equal option, the automation will divide the screen time equally between all groups, regardless of the number of clips each group has.
The second parameter is Shuffle, which determines whether you would like to shuffle the clips within each group. With the Yes option, the automation shuffles the clips within each group, while still maintaining order between groups. Conversely, the No option does not shuffle the clips.
Overall, the Group Auto Edit automation is an effective tool that saves you time by automatically editing your groups to the beat markers on your timeline, while ensuring that your different groups are kept together and in order with relation to each other. With the ability to fine-tune the conditions that happen within each group, you have more control over the editing process and can produce high-quality videos in a shorter amount of time.
