In addition to removing unused clips, the Consolidate Project automation also allows you to copy all the used assets into the selected folder. This can be useful if you need to share your project with someone else or if you want to keep a backup of all the files you used in your project.
When you run the Consolidate Project automation, you will be prompted to select the destination folder where you want to save the new copy of your project. You will also have the option to choose whether to copy the underlying assets to the destination folder.
If you select “Save Assets”, Automator Plus will copy all the used assets in your project to the destination folder. This can be useful if you want to have a complete backup of your project, or if you need to share your project with someone who doesn’t have access to the original source files.
