Premiere Pro has a fantastic feature where you can save a group of effects together as a Preset. However, applying those presets to multiple clips can be a time-consuming and error-prone process. But now, with the Apply Preset automation, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. This automation allows you to apply any of your predefined presets to the specified clips quickly and accurately, saving you valuable time in your editing process
The Apply Preset automation takes three arguments:
- Item: A dropdown menu that allows you to select the preset you want to apply. This dropdown will display all the presets that you have defined.
- Which Clips: A dropdown menu that allows you to select which clips you want to apply the preset to. You have three options to choose from – all clips, clips at effect markers, or clips at the player.
- Which Tracks: A dropdown menu that allows you to select which tracks you want to apply the preset to. You have three options to choose from – all tracks, targetted tracks, or the clip on the topmost visible track.
