Premiere Pro provides a wide range of effects that you can apply to your clips to enhance their appearance and improve your overall video quality. However, applying effects to multiple clips can be a time-consuming process, and manually adjusting the settings for each clip can be prone to error. That’s where the Apply Effect automation comes in.
This automation allows you to apply any of Premiere Pro’s pre-defined effects to the specified clips. The automation will apply the effect with the default settings, making it easy to quickly apply an effect to multiple clips without having to manually adjust each one.
The Apply Effect automation has three arguments: Which Effect, Which Clips, and Which Tracks. The Which Effect argument is a dropdown that allows you to select the effect you’d like to apply from all of Premiere Pro’s pre-defined effects. The Which Clips argument is a dropdown that allows you to select which clips you’d like to apply the effect to, with options to select all clips, clips at effect markers, or clips at the player. Finally, the Which Tracks argument is a dropdown that allows you to select which tracks you’d like to apply the effect to, with options to select all tracks, targetted tracks, or the clip on the top-most visible track.
