CONDENSE CLIP

FEATURES

  • Choose between vertical and Multicam versions

  • Ignores muted tracks

  • Ignores adjustments layers

There are two parts to the condense clips automation. The first part allows you to condense clips for a multi-cam that has been generated. If you’ve ever use the multi-cam feature of Premiere Pro, you’ll know that it creates a new ‘camera’ for each clip. This can result in timelines with many, many tracks. Condensing your timeline means that we’ll take all of the clips and move them down the timeline to create as few tracks as possible, without overwriting any of the other clips.

The second part of this automation, condense clips vertically, is similar. However, instead of not overwriting any other clips, this automation will collapse the clips until all the topmost visible clips are on track 1, with no other clips present.
